Spending money, wasting money (like I did duh!) is the easy part:

• buying useless traffic (spend $ 250 without 1 single sale !)
• buying non existing clicks (yeah, did it to)
• some dozens of dollars for invisible banners (suppose you didn't notice them)
• bought millions of emails (acc. to the stats I've been able to send about 85 million email ads without a single hit on my website)
• subscribed to a trillion and one mail list (read spam list), yet didn't found the Holy Grail

Yes, I tried to become an INSTANT INTERNET MILLIONAIRE.

Didn't earn a penny, yet learned a lot:

• about being patient with the net,
• about reading, listening, ... before action (as long as you read, you don't spend money)
• about what's worth trying and what not (I have a long recommendation list of what not to do)
• about the internet, search engines,...
• about creating internet shops (that don't sell, not even to your family)
• and about writing letters of complaints to internet Guru's (Dear F***ing B***ard)

Finally, by accident, I started earning some money with an almost forgotten website I launched 5 years ago. First about 30 dollar a month, this steadily increased. Now I'm turning break even, I even earn some pocket money, but most of all:
I'm having lots of fun with my shops, my websites, my friends on the web.

And I buried my fantastic dream to become an Instant Internet Millionaire, before it became a nightmare.
